Snow-White comes from Household Stories by the Brothers Grimm, translated by Lucy Crane and illustrated by Walter Crane (1886).

Snow White is born, and grows prettier and prettier. The Queen asks the mirror everyday if she is indeed the fairest. One day the response is that Snow White is fairer that the Queen. The Queen asks the Huntsman to take her out to the forest and kill her, and bring back her heart as proof. Snow White convinces the Huntsman to let her go and bring back the a boar heart in the place of hers.
Snow white stumbles upon a small cottage and takes the food and drink she needed after a long day in the woods. She lays on one of the beds to sleep. the dwarfs came home to a stranger in their bed, and they thought she was beautiful. They make a deal with her that she can stay if she keeps their house. The mirror gives Snow White away as still being alive. The queen goes out in disguise to try and trick snow white. The queen demonstrated the lace she was selling, and pulled it so tight snow white fell down in a faint. The dwarves came home and found her, cutting the lace to let her breath again. She revived as she could breathe. They told her she needs to be wary of everyone who comes by when they are not there. The queen gets her again with another ware, this time a poisoned comb. The dwarves come back and take it away and she revives. She comes by for the third time with a apple. It puts her into a deep sleep and this time the dwarfs cannot revive her. The place her in a glass coffin above ground because she is too beautiful to put below (but her body would decompose anyway but whatever). A prince comes by and asks the dwarfs permission to take the coffin. They say no. He asks again and they give him permission. He calls servants and the coffin gets taken to the castle. On the way they jostle it and the apple dislodges from her throat. She wakes up. They get marries. The queen dances to death at the wedding due to cursed shoes.
